Framing
Framing should be sympathetic to the art work by reflecting its period and style. In practice this can vary from a period frame to a sympathetic, modern reproduction. We will be pleased to advise you, provide a quotation, and arrange the framing, as you may require.
Conservation and Restoration
Oil paintings generally require a light clean every 20 years or so in order to maintain their original vibrancy. Oils that have been damaged can be restored to the highest standards, consistent with the value of the work. Much of the damage to works on paper can also be removed. We will be pleased to advise you, provide a quotation, and arrange any conservation or restoration you may require.

We are always pleased to provide advice or undertake consultancy or research. Please telephone or email us to discuss.
Buying for Clients
We are always pleased to advise clients who wish to start or build their collections. We can also alert you to work for sale by a particular artist in the UK or internationally and, as a general rule, we make no charge for this service. Should you subsequently wish us to buy on your behalf, we will be pleased to do so on an agreed commission or fee basis.
Buying from Clients
We are always pleased to consider buying fine art work direct from clients: either on our own account or by arranging its sale at the most appropriate auction house, on an agreed commission or fee basis.
