After the Second World War, Seago settled in Ludham, on the Norfolk Broads.  He was a keen sailor and regularly sailed his yacht, Capricorn, across the Channel to Holland, Belgium and particularly France, where he would sail  up the Seine from Honfleur to Paris, painting as he went - the probable location for this work
