Some Recent
Acquisitions
We greatly appreciate feedback on our fortnightly newsletters
and received more than we would normally expect for our last,
slightly diversionary, 'A Brief History of Valentine's
Day', all of which were complimentary. Thank you all.
This week we are 'back to reality' with a selection
of recent acquisitions. Unlike many dealers and galleries in
these difficult times, we continue to acquire works on a very
regular basis and we will be happy to add you to our Email
Alert should you so wish.
We specialise in high quality works of art by well-known artists
with a particular interest in figurative work c.1860-1960, although
we will always buy outside this period if we find a picture which
we believe is 'interesting', of good quality, and
good value - which we can then reflect in the price at which
we can offer it to our clients. Comparisons can be invidious
but we do suggest that our prices are probably in the order of
50% less than a client would expect to pay for the same work
in a West End gallery (but then we do not carry their very expensive
overheads).
If you are interested in any of these or the other works we
have available, please contact us. We are always happy to meet
prospective clients and are equally pleased to have the opportunity
of showing you the work at your office or home (London, Home
and surrounding counties) by appointment, and with no cost or
obligation to purchase.
